Akron residents escape overnight house fire

AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

The Akron Fire department is investigating what set a home ablaze early Friday morning.

Crews were called to the home located on North Portage Path around 2:30 a.m., and firefighters were able to control the flames within an hour.

The home was occupied at the time of the fire, but everyone managed to escape uninjured.
