LORAIN, OH (WOIO) -

An 18-year-old rape victim is changing her story.

The victim originally told police that she was on her way home from the library when she was kidnapped at gunpoint by a stranger, dragged to vacant home and raped by a homeless man.

Police now say the victim knew her attacker, 36-year-old Joseph Worthy. They believe the victim went willingly with Worthy to a vacant home to take part in a drug deal.

Police do believe a sexual assault took place during the drug deal.

Worthy was arrested on rape charges.

The investigation continues.
