Victims in Gregg Co. crash identified, Hwy. 31 re-opened

GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

Two East Texas men are dead following a horrific accident in Gregg County.

The crash happened just after 7pm Friday near the intersection of Highway 31 and FM 2767.

Witnesses tell us that Jason David Albright and Dulis Rolando Cervantes were assisting a woman who was having car trouble on the roadway, when a second car hit the two men.

Cervantes was pronounced dead at the scene and Albright was pronounced dead a short time later at Good Shepherd Medical Center.

Highway 31 re-opened shortly before 10pm Friday.
