A man is dead after a freak accident while exiting I-90 at Warren Road Friday night

Police say a 37-year-old man had exited the highway at the Warren Road exit, and while still on the ramp at Marginal, a large tree fell on his car trapping him.

Cleveland Fire and EMS responded and freed the man from the vehicle.

The victim, later identified as Michael Agnish, 37 of Lakewood was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where he died after surgery around 5:30 a.m.

The death has been ruled probable accidental.

The remaining portion of the tree is being removed currently by Urban Forestry.
