MEDINA, OH (WOIO) -

Medina police have confirmed that a male was accidentally shot at the Medina gun show today. The shooting happened about 3 p.m. this afternoon and the male was taken to the Medina General Hospital.

Authorities state that his injuries do not appear to be life threatening and that it is unclear whether or not the gunshot was self inflicted.

This incident happened after reports of another accidental shooting during a gun show in Raleigh, NC earlier today where two people were injured.

Today marks Gun Appreciation Day and Guns Across America.
