CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
Cleveland's main streets with 47 crews, and 6 road graders. Once the main streets are in fair to good condition crews will transition into the residential streets to plow and service through over night tonight while still maintaining the main thoroughfares.
As always, the goal is to have all streets serviced within 24 to 36 hours from when snow stops falling, depending on the actual amount of snow fall. Work will be ongoing until main thoroughfares are clear and residential streets are serviced.
Additional information:
An estimated additional snowfall of 3-5 inches is expected by 4 PM this afternoon, along with an additional 2-4 inches possible by 4 AM. Significant blowing snow is expected throughout the next 24 hours with visibility reduced to less than one-quarter mile or near zero at times.
The Bureau of Traffic continues to assist the snow plow crews in the downtown areas in order to facilitate a more expedient clearing of the roadways.
A parking ban is in effect for all streets that are marked with red and white snow emergency signs, along with all downtown streets. Parking bans are designated on streets that are identified as necessary thoroughfares for the transportation of food, fuel supplies, medical care, health emergencies and fire and police protection.
The Division of Police is assisting with the enforcement of the parking ban and assisting motorists with traffic hazards.
The City of Cleveland encourages residents to:
Park off-street whenever possible to give snow plows the ability to plow streets curb-to-curb.
Stay off the streets as much as possible for their own personal safety and to allow snow plows greater access to the city's roadways.
If you must travel, use caution and remember not to "block the box" at intersections.
Residents with snow removal concerns should call (216) 664-2510.

The outlook for job in Northeast of Ohio looks pretty promising according to a new report released by Team NEO. In the next decade they estimate the area to add 150,000 jobs.
