AKRON, OH (WOIO) -
A violent shoplifter arrested at the Chapel Hill Mall in Akron.
According to police, Mychael D. Andrews, 23, attempted to leave the Macy's store without paying for merchandise.
Store security discovered he had a pistol on him. Andrews pushed one security guard through a glass display and threatened other staff that he had another pistol before he fled the store. The gun was found to be stolen.
Andrews is charged with Aggravated Robbery, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Receiving Stolen Property.
