AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

A 23-year-old Akron man accused of assault and pointing a gun at a police officer.

According to police, Mark A. Losh entered a home in the 700 block of Lafollette Street with a gun and a knife and assaulted the victim. Losh also held the knife to the victim's threat.

911 was called, and when the officer tried to stop the assault, Losh pointed a gun at the officer.

Losh was charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, felonious assault and felonious assault on a peace officer.
