(CNN) - Actor Burt Reynolds is in intensive care in a Florida hospital.
A representative for the actor says he is being treated for flu symptoms.
The rep says the 76-year-old actor went to the hospital after becoming dehydrated.
He was eventually transferred to the ICU.
Reynolds' rep says the actor is doing better now and expects to be back in a regular room after he gets more fluids.
