
Ohio State took control of Saturday's game against Penn State in the first half and never looked back, rolling to a 65-51 win in Happy Valley. The Buckeyes lead by 11 points at the break over the worst team in the Big Ten.
Sam Thompson scored a team-high 16 points to lead the charge. Lenzelle Smith, Jr. and DeShaun Thomas each scored 11.
Penn State shot only 36% from the floor and 59% from the free throw line in the loss. They fell to 0-8 in conference play.
Ohio State improved to 15-4 over all, 5-2 in the Big Ten.
