On Sunday afternoon the Boston Celtics announced Rajon Rondo would miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL in his right knee. Rondo was slated to start for the East at point guard in next month's All-Star Game in Houston.
There are only two other guards on the Eastern Conference roster- Philadelphia's Jrue Holiday and Kyrie Irving of the Cavaliers. Both are point guards and could fill in for Rondo.
The East will also get another player added to the team to take Rondo's place, but that player would not start for him.
