AKRON, OH (WOIO) -
A 30-year-old man is recovering after his ear was nearly bitten off during a fight.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. Friday night in the 100 block of South Maple Street in Akron.
The victim told police he got into a fight with another man. During the fight, the suspect bit the victim's ear, almost separating it from his head.
The victim was taken to St. Thomas Hospital for treatment.
The suspect has been identified, but no charges have been filed at this time.
