Man shot to death near east side motel

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
Police are investigating a shooting on Cleveland's east side.

Officials said a man was shot at the Motor Motel at 7710 Carnegie Avenue just before12:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.

According to police the victim, a white male, was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was rushed to MetroHealth Medical Center where he died. 

The medical examiner has ruled the death a homicide. 

The Cleveland Division of Police is asking that anyone with information about this incident to contact the Homicide Unit at 216.623.5464.
