MINERVA, OH (WOIO) -

A 51-year-old man has been arrested for inducing panic and trespassing at Minerva High School.

High School officials had previously asked the man to stay away due to his odd behavior when he visited the school, but he kept coming back to school athletic functions.

The man was already facing weapons charges when police found a handgun previously at his home. The man takes medication, and is not allowed to have a gun in his possession.

Police also noticed the man - whom has yet to be charged - buying a lot of gasoline and propane and storing it at his home.

The man does have a criminal history.
