BROOKLYN, OH (WOIO) -

19 Action News has obtained security video from a deadly shooting rampage last April inside the Cracker Barrel in Brooklyn.

The state Attorney General's office just released the video to 19 Action News as part of a public records request. It sheds new light on what a gunman did and what police didn't do.

Kevin Allen killed his wife and two young daughters inside the restaurant, and it happened as Brooklyn Police took up positions outside.

The video shows Kevin Allen walking in with his wife and daughters, then leaving alone. Investigators say his wife had told him she wanted a divorce.

The video also shows Allen barging back into the restaurant with a shotgun, chasing his wife and kids. You even see him shoot his wife at the register with others around her.

On the tape, you also see witnesses cowering in fear.

Finally ,you see Allen shot by police as he walked out.
