Family Video in Coventry Township robbed at gunpoint

COVENTRY TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) -

Summit County Sheriff's Detectives are investigating an armed robbery at the Family Video store.

It happened around 11:35 p.m. Wednesday at 3710 Manchester Road in Coventry Township.

Detectives say 2 suspects, wearing dark clothing and brightly colored scarves wrapped around their heads and faces, entered the store shortly before closing time.

One of the men brandished a handgun and demanded cash from and employee. The other suspect indicated that he had a hand gun as well.

The 2 suspects fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The Summit County Sheriff's Office Deputies responded along with the Summit County Sheriff's Office Crime Scene Unit.
