Travis Hafner, Yankees agree on one-year dealTravis Hafner and the Yankees have agreed to a one-year deal worth about $2 million pending the former Indians designated hitter passes a physical.
Hafner hit .228 with 12 homers and 34 RBI's for the Tribe last season.
He will be the Yankees left-handed DH and could play some first base if needed.
The Indians declined Hafner's $13 million option for 2013 allowing him to become a free agent. The two sides had some contract talks but couldn't agree on a deal.
