CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

On a night with temperatures in the upper 20's and falling fast, some people, whether they like it or not, have to rough it and deal with the cold.

For instance, take a person like Mike Green, he has no choice but to be outside.

He's manning the valet parking post for restaurants in Shaker Square.

"Can't really feel my hands. It's pretty damn cold," said Green.

He will be out here for six hours tonight, running back and forth taking care of customers and doing his best to try to stay warm.

When we asked him how the weather was affecting his job, he said "It's tough writing, moving the keys around, putting the tickets on."

But he's not alone out in the elements.  At the train station nearby, passengers waiting for a ride were bundled up and trying stay patient.

We asked Lemicah Stallings how she was coping and she responded with, "Not good.  I don't like winter.  I try to stay in the house."

Whether they were waiting, walking or working, everyone was just trying to cope with the cold.

"Not a lot you can do...just try to stay inside as much as possible," said Green.

According to Green business is slow because it seems people don't like to be out in the cold.
