Art Modell did not in the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday. He was one of the 15 finalists when the day started, but he did not even make the first cut and was out by the time the list was down to 10.
Many felt Modell had a chance to get in as a contribute to the game for his efforts in getting the game more television exposure. He essentially created Monday Night Football. Instead, Bill Parcells made it as a contribute.
Four players were enshrined in the class of 2013. Former Ohio State Buckeye receiver Chris Carter was one of them. Tampa Bay's legendary defensive tackle Warren Sapp made it. Two offensive linemen were put in as well; Baltimore's Jonathan Ogden and Larry Allen of Dallas Cowboys fame.
