CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH (WOIO) -

Police have arrested two suspects wanted in several thefts from vehicles.

Authorities say after a lengthy investigation by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Detective Bureau into numerous thefts from motor vehicles, they arrested Robert Ponte, 26, and Diana Mikoletic, 28.

The thefts included two handguns, two rifles and a large amount of ammunition, cash, jewelry, credit cards, laptop computers and GPS devices.

Police say theses thefts occurred over a several month period from numerous victims.

Some of the stolen property has been recovered, including the two rifles. The two handguns are still unaccounted for according to police.

Ponte has been charged with grand theft, receiving stolen property, and falsification. He is currently in the Lorain Correctional Facility on previous offenses and arrangements are being made to return him to Summit County to appear on the new charges.

Mikoletic has been charged with misuse of credit cards, receiving stolen property, and falsification. She has already been arraigned on her charges and has been released on bond.

The Cuyahoga Falls Police would like to remind citizens not to leave valuables in unsecured vehicles, especially firearms.
