CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
The Cleveland Police Union says an officer has received a 20 day suspension for his handling of a case of downed wires near where a child was severely shocked.
Officer Gary Spiegelmeyer pled no contest to administrative charges Wednesday.
Just after Super Storm Sandy Spiegelmeyer got a call to guard downed power lines on Cleveland's east side. He said he was told they were harmless phone wires.
Hours later Gasia Thomas touched downed wires in that same block. She nearly died.
The outlook for job in Northeast of Ohio looks pretty promising according to a new report released by Team NEO. In the next decade they estimate the area to add 150,000 jobs. More >>

There is a bit a problem though and it will be finding the qualified and educated workers to fill the jobs especially in the medical industry.
