CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
An investigation is underway after a 22-year-old man was fatally shot in Cleveland.
Officers were called to Lotus Avenue around 9 p.m. for a man found dead in a vehicle. Upon arrival, the victim, identified as Maurice Taylor, was found in the driver's seat of a Chevy Lumina. He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Taylor had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
There are no known witnesses to the incident at this time.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit at 216-623-5464.
