CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora believes the Browns will be active in free agency. The team has around $30-million in cap space and La Canfora's sources tell him that the Steelers feel their franchise receiver Mike Wallace could end up in Cleveland. Wallace played last year on a one-year deal and has been unhappy with his contract for a while.
Ravens defensive end Paul Kruger is another name he suggests for the Browns. Kruger had two sacks in the Super Bowl, 2.5 sacks in their playoff win over Indy and finished with nine sacks during the regular season.
He also feels the team wants to upgrade their quarterback position and will look at Alex Smith. Michael Vick may have been an option, but he restructured his contract and will be staying in Philadelphia.
