VERMILION, OH (WOIO) -

Police were called to Sailorway Middle School in Vermilion on Feb. 5.

The Assistant Principal told police two boys were being disruptive while a substitute teacher conducted class. The boys also appeared to be bullying other classmates. The boys were being so disruptive, another teacher had to walk into the classroom to warn them to settle down.

After the other teacher left the room, the substitute teacher overheard one student say "she's on my list." The substitute took that as being a threat, and sent the student to the office. She then heard the other student say "punch the teacher in the face" and "beat the crap out of the principal." She then sent that student to the office.

Both students were removed from school and was given a three-day suspension and they were referred to Erie County Attendance Officer for an informal hearing.
