The man convicted of torching his place of business, was sentenced Tuesday to 16 years in prison.
William Crawley, 55, started the massive fire at Valley Sterling Trucks on West 159th in Brook Park on August 6, 2012.
Crawley entered the garage bay and splashed gasoline into the cab of one of the numerous trucks stored inside. He then lit the gasoline with his cigarette lighter and closed the door.
Once the fire was established, Crawley alerted his supervisor, who was the only other person in the building at the time.
Multiple fire departments needed to respond to extinguish the fire.
There were no injuries, but the fire caused approximately 4 million dollars in damage.
