Free tax help at Lorain Public Library

LORAIN, OH (WOIO) -

If you made under $51,000 in 2012, be sure to take advantage of free federal and state income tax filing services at Lorain Public Library system's main library.

Volunteers from the Lorain County Earned Income Tax Credit Coalition will provide this free service.

The earned income tax credit is a federal tax credit for low to moderate income workers. 

This credit can be worth up to $475 for an individual and $5,891 for a worker with three or more qualifying children.

Tuesdays, February 19 and 26; March 5, 12, 19 and 26; April 2
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Wednesdays, February 20 and 27; March 6, 13, 20 and 27; April 3
9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday, February 13
1:00 - 6:00 p.m.
