Akron extends winning streak after defeating Eastern MichiganThe Akron Zips extended the nation's best winning streak to 16 games with a 70-62 win over Eastern Michigan.
Brian Walsh lead the way for Akron with 16 points. Nick Harney added 14 while Zeke Marshall added 12 points and three blocked shots.
The game was close throughout, but the Zips pulled away in the final five minutes to get the win. They remain in first place in the MAC by one game over the Ohio Bobcats.
Akron will return home to face Bowling Green at 7:30 P.M. on Saturday night.
