The final score will tell you Ohio State won by ten, but the Northwestern Wildcats will argue they gave the Buckeyes all they could handle, staying right with them into the final two minutes on Thursday night, before OSU pulled away, 69-59 at Value City Arena.
Deshaun Thomas led all scorers with 22 points, and Lenzelle Smith Jr. added 12 for the Buckeyes, who improve to 18-6, 8-4 in the Big Ten.
