Lenawee Co. investigators believe series of car break-ins related

ADRIAN, MI (Toledo News Now) -

CrimeStoppers of Lenawee County is asking for the public's help with information about several car break-ins that have occurred in parking lots along M-52 north of the city limits of Adrian to M-50.

Since December 2012, law enforcement agencies in Lenawee County have taken several reports from vehicle owners on car break-ins. They say while inside establishments on M-52, someone breaks a window of their vehicle and then steals personal items, such as purses, laptops, wallets, and clothing items.

These break-ins have occurred mostly during the daytime hours.

At this time, investigators believe all of the break-ins are related.

Anyone with information is urged to contact CrimeStopper of Lenawee by calling 517-266-6161 or 877-276-8477, or texting to 274637 starting the tip with "Lenawee." Additionally, a tip can be left anonymously online. Any tips that lead to the arrest of the responsible person or persons will earn the tipster a cash reward.
