Bank robber busted in Coventry

COVENTRY TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) -

Summit County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the U.S. Bank on Manchester Road in Coventry around 9:30 a.m. Friday for a bank robbery.

The suspect handed the tell her a note demanding money and instructing them not to use a dye pack.

He then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

A detective and deputy who were in the area and responding noticed an individual matching the bank robber's description and approached him.

They found items on him connecting him to the bank robbery.

The suspect was later identified as Zachary Green, 22 of Akron.   He was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. Further charges may be pending the outcome of the investigation.
