Two injured during a shoot out at a house party

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Cleveland Police of Fifth District are currently investigating a shooting which happened on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at around 1:30 a.m.

Two males, ages 16 and 19, were involved in the incident.

Police responded to a call for shots fired on the 11000 block of Castlewood. 

Officers arrived to find a large crowd outside and one male lying on the ground who had been shot. 

Another victim was located shortly after the first.

An early investigation reveals that the shooting took place at a house party on Castlewood.

The suspects are said to have arrived at the party in a silver SUV and an argument ensued between the people at the house and the suspects in the vehicle. 

The suspects in the vehicle pulled onto the lawn, backed up, and fired shots into a crowd of people. 

The suspects fled the area in the SUV. 

The 16-year-old victim was shot in his lower back and the 19-year-old victim, Shawn Fields,  was shot twice in his left leg. 

EMS took both victims to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment.
