AKRON, OH (WOIO) -
Troopers stopped a 2011 Chevrolet Impala, with Ohio registration, on Diagonal Road in the city of Akron for a registration violation at 6:59 p.m. on February 15th.
During the traffic stop troopers detected an odor of raw marijuana.
Ten pounds of marijuana were discovered in the trunk during a probable cause search.
The driver, Richard E. Jones, 27, of Akron, was arrested and taken to the Summit County Jail and charged with possession of marijuana, a third-degree felony.
