CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The Cleveland Division of Police Bomb Squad called to the 1800 block of Willowdale Avenue for a methamphetamine lab just before noon on Wednesday.

According to police, a husband and wife were arrested and three children were turned over to Children Services.

19 Action News has learned the family was being evicted, and a bailiff from Housing Court discovered the meth operation.

A preliminary investigation revealed the floor of the home to have garbage, syringes and drug paraphernalia scattered about.  Also visible were items used to make methamphetamine and suspected meth.

The couple will face charges for child endangering and violation of the state drug law for running the meth lab within 1,000 feet of a school.

The children, ages 1, 2 and 4 were released into the custody of a family member.
