Columbus (WOIO) - Three nights after getting embarassed by the Wisconsin Badgers on the road, the Ohio State Buckeyes returned home and delivered a beatdown of their own, slamming the Minnesota Golden Gophers, 71-45 at Value City Arena.
After Aaron Craft's buzzer-beater put OSU up by six at the half, the Buckeyes regrouped, and blew it open in the second half, with Deshaun Thomas once again leading the way with 19 points.
The Buckeyes (19-7, 9-5) will face a much tougher test on Sunday, when they host 4th-ranked Michigan State on Sunday afternoon.
