CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

19 Action News sources tell us the last of three teenage inmates who escaped from the custody of the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court is now being treated at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland for a gunshot wound.

But Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court Administrative Judge Thomas O'Malley won't even confirm the kid has been found.

His PR people told 19 Action News Investigative Reporter Scott Taylor HIPAA laws will not allow them to answer any questions.

Three out of nine inmates who are all locked up at a posh treatment facility in Pennsylvania didn't show up for a bus in Cleveland after spending 15 days at home over Christmas.

Using HIPAA laws for an excuse not to tell the public about finding one of them seems odd when you look at the definition: According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services HIPAA's privacy rule protects all individually identifiable health information.

County Sheriff officials finally confirmed that the teen is back in custody.
