Cleveland Police search for accused kidnapper

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The Cleveland Division of Police is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect in an attempted kidnapping case. 

On Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at 11:55 p.m., a black man attempted to kidnap a woman from the parking lot of 3778 W. 117th Street as she was getting into her vehicle.

A good Samaritan observed the attempted kidnapping and scared off the suspect.

The suspect then fled the scene in silver Ford minivan.

The suspect is described as a black male 30s, facial hair, 6' 200lbs., wearing a black hat, green quilted jacket and blue pants.

Anyone with information as to the identification or whereabouts of the suspect or suspect's vehicle is asked to contact the Cleveland Division of Police at 216-623-5725.
