An Akron man accused of robbing two banks over the weekend.
Shortly after 9 a.m. Saturday, the Gen Fed Credit Union on Wedgewood Drive in Akron was robbed. The suspect entered the credit union and handed the teller a note, indicating he had a gun and demanding money. The teller handed the suspect an unreported amount of money and the suspect fled in a black Ford Focus.
The suspect also appeared to have robbed the Huntington Bank in Cuyahoga Falls on Sunday.
Steven Charles D'Agostine, 43, of Tallmadge was located at a house in the 200 block of Nieman Street after officers received a tip. He was taken into custody without incident.
D'Agostine was charged with aggravated robbery and booked into the Summit County Jail.
