MONROE COUNTY, MI (Toledo News Now) -

A Monroe County woman was killed Monday night, after stepping in front of a moving car.

Michigan state police say a driver hit 34-year-old Tamera Anne Rodak after 7 p.m., on Telegraph Road in Frenchtown Township.

According to police, Rodak walked into traffic.

She died instantly upon impact.

Investigators say it is unlikely the driver could have avoided hitting Rodak, and likely will not face charges.
