Indians see massive increase in tickets salesHeightened demand for Tribe tickets was exhibited on Monday, the first day of single game tickets being on sale.
Not only did Opening Day sell out in only six minutes, single game ticket totals are up over 40% from last year and nearly double 2011 totals.
The Indians sold out Opening Day for the 20th consecutive year on Monday.
The Indians spent $117 million in free agents during the offseason, which helped spur the tickets sales increase.
