STREETSBORO, OH (WOIO) -

A crystal meth bust at a Streetsboro hotel.

On Tuesday, the Streetsboro Police Department responded to the Fairfield Inn on SR14 for a report of possible drug activity in a room.  When officers arrived, they were told that a hotel employee had observed drugs in Room 101.

When officers went to that room, they spoke to a man and woman and obtained a consent to search the room.  Once consent was obtained, officers located a small amount of marijuana, some prescription pills and a baggie of crystal methamphetamines.  The crystal meth weight was approximately one ounce and has an estimated street value of about $6,000.

Brian K. Crawford, 32, was arrested and charged with possession of drugs and Christina L. Dunham, 32, was charged with complicity to possession of drugs.

The case was turned over to the Portage County Drug Task Force and is still under investigation.
