Construction begins Friday on the first of 26 new playgrounds being built and dedicated for each of the Sandy Hook victims.

The first is being built in Sea Bright, NJ.

All of the playgrounds will be built in communities hit hard by Hurricane Sandy in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Six of the playgrounds will be built in Connecticut.
