
Swisher, Reynolds homer in Indians winThe Indians broke out their bats against the Cubs in their Cactus League game, beating Chicago 13-5.
New Indians Nick Swisher and Mark Reynolds each homered in the victory. Swisher had three hits and four RBI's on the afternoon.
Tribe third baseman Lonnie Chisenhall also had three hits and just missed hitting for the cycle, failing to hit a triple. He also had three RBI's.
The Indians used three pitchers on the day. Carlos Carrasco, Zach McAllister and Trevor Bauer each worked three innings, combining for four earned runs, seven hits, five strikeouts and two walks.
The Indians (7-5) will continue Cactus League play on Tuesday when they travel to Scottsdale to face the Giants at 3:05 P.M. Daisuke Matsuzaka will take the mound opposite Madison Bumgarner.
