
Kent, OH (WOIO) - The Kent State Golden Flashes are riding some momentum, heading into their regular-season finale against the rival Akron Zips, thanks in large part to Tuesday's 69-61 win over Bowling Green.
Chris Evans was a force for the Flashes, throwing down 12 points, pulling down 12 rebounds and dishing out 7 assists, while Randal Holt led all scorers with 16 points.
A'ustin Calhoun led the Falcons with 13 points.
Kent State (18-12, 8-7) will close out the regular season at Akron on Friday night.
