CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

19 Action News is staying on top of the investigation into that massive police chase last fall that turned deadly.

Wednesday, Cleveland's Police Chief told Reporter Ed Gallek that there's still no timetable for an internal investigation to be finished. Michael McGrath said police bosses are reviewing videotaped interviews the Attorney General did with 13 officers involved firing shots. And the chief said his people are also doing their own interviews of other officers and supervisors working that night.

Last November, more than 60 police cars chased a man and a woman in car after a report of shots fired. They wouldn't stop. The chase went on for 22 minutes, and it ended with police killing the driver and passenger with 137 shots.

The Ohio Attorney General blamed a systemic failure in the police department - poor training and supervision.

The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor is reviewing the case for any criminal charges.
