Justin Masterson went four innings, allowing three hits while striking out three. Rich Hill, Nick Hagadone, Scott Barnes, Preston Guilmet and Matt Langwell also contributed to the shutout, as the Tribe pitching staff held the Dodgers to 5 singles on the afternoon.
Jason Giambi, Matt Carson and Yan Gomes all run-scoring singles. Mark Reynolds also contributed two hits.
Cleveland will host the San Francisco Giants Thursday at 3:05 P.M. Ubaldo Jimenez and Tim Lincecum are set to take the mound for their respective clubs.
