PNC announces plans to close 200 branches

(WOIO) -

In an effort to cut expenses by $700 million by the end of 2013, PNC announced plans to close 200 bank branches.

PNC Financial Services Group (NYSE: PNC) has yet to announce the list of banks on the chopping block.

The company operates 30 banks in the Cleveland area.
