Playing through the stomach flu and a sore right knee, Kyrie Irving scored a game-high 24 points. It wasn't enough. Memphis beat the Cavaliers 103-92 behind a strong third quarter. In that quarter they outscored the Cavs 32-18 as Cleveland just looked lifeless.
Marc Gasol carried the Grizzlies with 22 points and eight rebounds. Former Ohio State Buckeye Mike Conley, Jr. had a double-double for Memphis, 17 points and 11 assists.
Tristan Thompson had a double-double as well for the Cavs, 10 points and 10 rebounds.
