FAIRLAWN, OH (WOIO) -

Terminal operator Bulk Terminal Storage Tuesday informed GetGo that two of its locations in Northeast Ohio received shipments of 87 octane gasoline that were mistakenly mixed with diesel fuel at the terminal.

The two affected GetGo sites are located on Medina Road in Fairlawn and Lincoln Way East in Massillon. Since the issue originated at the delivery truck loading terminal, at least one other area fuel retailer was also impacted.

Giant Eagle and GetGo apologize for any inconvenience caused by this supply chain error, and the company is working diligently to satisfy its affected customers. GetGo offers the highest quality fuels, and all fuels sold at GetGo are 100% guaranteed.

Customers who purchased either 87 or 89 octane fuel at one of the two affected GetGo locations before noon Tuesday morning may contact Giant Eagle at 1-800-553-2324 to process a claim for fuel system repairs.
