CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Josh Cribbs is leaving the Cleveland Browns.

A source close to Cribbs tells 19 Action News that free-agent kick returner/wide receiver will sign with the Arizona Cardinals. The deal could be struck as soon as tomorrow.

Cribbs has been with the Browns for the past eight seasons and during that time, the three-time Pro Bowler was once the top kick returner in the NFL.

Cribbs has yet to confirm this information but he posted this message on his Twitter account Wednesday evening:

"It's been a blessing to be in Cleveland, wishing the best to the city & the Team. If I could stay I would."

He then put out a photo on Instagram with the following message:

"I proved I would die for this....that I would give 110% every game. That the community was just as important as the field. So if it's my time to go, at least it's in good hands" referring to Joe Haden and other players.
