EAST CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

An East Cleveland man is facing drug charges after mailing heroin to a local recreational center.

Eugene Padgett was busted with one kilo of black tar heroin.

Police say the 31-year-old had the drugs shipped through the mail to the MLK Junior Civic Center in East Cleveland.

Authorities say that he then carried the package back to his Garden Street home, where he was placed under arrest.
